  • Cultivate is a strategic consulting firm that partners with leaders at science-led companies to build high-performing cultures. As a Strategy & Culture Consultant, you will directly partner with our clients to define, build and activate their most important cultural priorities. This role requires someone who can navigate complex stakeholder environments in large enterprises, synthesize organizational needs into actionable strategies, and manage multiple workstreams - all while nurturing exceptional client relationships and creating deliverables that are driven by human centered design.

    This work sits at the intersection of innovation, strategic thinking, leadership development and navigating organizational transformation. All in service of architecting meaningful change and business results for our client partners. Your work will cross our firm’s five practice areas – advisory, communications, experiences, movements and research.

    This role combines strategic client relationship management, hands-on development of client-ready deliverables, and seamless project management.     Key Responsibilities

    • Deeply understand our enterprise clients' industries and strategic objectives while building broad stakeholder relationships that uncover their evolving needs

    • Serve as primary client contact for the engagement, managing relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple functions

    • Lead discovery phases including stakeholder interviews, gap analyses, and organizational assessments

    • Conduct regular strategic planning sessions for projects, ensuring clarity in objectives, takeaways and actions

    • Facilitate design sessions and stakeholder alignment meetings

    • Create client-ready PowerPoint decks and other communications that synthesize complex information into actionable insights

    • Construct compelling, easy-to-follow narratives that structure thinking clearly for all stakeholders

    • Create structured project workplans with tracked milestones across multiple workstreams

    • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards across multiple workstreams.

    • Maintain transparent communication for client and internal teams through proactive updates and documentation

    • Manage creative design partners to build compelling assets across our practice areas.

    • Ensure all deliverables are meeting quality standards and surpassing our clients' expectations

    • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and drive impact

    • Conduct regular retrospectives, including closeout activities that capture feedback, review final deliverables, identify new opportunities and apply lessons learned

    • Project Management Excellence: Demonstrates flawless organizational discipline in engagement setup, milestone tracking, and deliverable execution with precision, using digital platforms to streamline workflows while managing evolving project needs, resetting expectations when necessary, and maintaining seamless stakeholder alignment

    • Strategic Communication Excellence: Synthesizes complex information into actionable insights while constructing compelling, easy-to-follow narratives that structure thinking clearly for all stakeholders, delivering with a precise and adaptable communication style both virtually and in-person to drive understanding and action

    • Design Mindset Application: Ensures human-centered design principles are woven into all deliverables to shape powerful experiences for leaders

    • Innovation: Thinks divergently about novel solutions and converges on workable solutions to execute

    • Digital Acumen: Utilizes the latest tools and technologies (including Artificial Intelligence) to enhance productivity and shape new solutions

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree

    • 3-7 years experience in management consulting, organizational development, strategy, innovation or leading transformative initiatives at growing companies and/or large enterprises

    • Proven track record with enterprise-scale organizational change projects

    • Expert-level PowerPoint skills in both narrative development/storylining and in slide design

    • Experience creating initiatives and deliverables specifically for culture transformation and/or change initiatives

    • Track record of successfully managing complex stakeholder relationships across disciplines and at scale (either with multiple parties or within a large enterprise)

    • Facility with digital platforms and technologies

    • Comfort with Artificial Intelligence tools – in particular GenAI/Large Language Models (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Grok) to improve the flow of work

    Work environment: 

    • This is a remote role in a fast-paced environment

    • Occasional travel to client site may be required

    • Must be available during Eastern time zone working hours

    • Sometimes need to extend regular working hours to meet tight deadlines and/or attend global client calls, but can adjust overall hours with flex time

    Job Type:

    • Contract, 20 – 30 hours / week 

    Rate:

    • $50 - $60 per hour
